Master Evan Davidson VII dan Master D ITF Cambridge |
| Master Davidson is one of the pioneers of Taekwon-Do in New Zealand. He started ITF Taekwon-Do in April 1972 as a member of H.M.S. Terror Taekwon-Do Club at the Sembawang Naval Base in Singapore. He trained in Taekwon-Do whilst stationed with the Army in Singapore in 1972 and achieved his 1st dan black belt in only 1½ years. He returned to New Zealand to form the Miramar branch in February 1975, and the Khandallah branch in March 1979.Master Davidson was Manager/Coach of the NZ Team to South Pacific Tournament in FIJI in August 1983. He established Te Awamutu Taekwon-Do Club in February 1986 and the Cambridge club in 2008.Master Davidson, 7th dan, is currently the President of ITFNZ and a senior examiner on the Technical Sub-Committee. | Master Paul McPhail began his training in 1975, and was promoted to 1st dan black belt at age sixteen. In 1985 he moved to Auckland to become a professional Taekwon-Do instructor.Master McPhail began examining in 1988 on his promotion to 4th dan black belt and in 1994 he was awarded the ‘Outstanding Instructor Medal’ from the International Taekwon-Do Federation. He was promoted to 7th dan in 2004.Master McPhail is the Technical Director and Chief Examiner for the International Taekwon-Do Foundation of New Zealand (ITFNZ). He wrote the ITFNZ Techniques Syllabus which is in use throughout the Country, and is the author of the book Taekwon-Do – Beginners’ Training Manual, which is in its third Printing.Full profile | |

| Master Bhana is a 7th Dan and Instructor of Eastern (I.T.F.) Taekwon-Do in Auckland. He says, ‘I began Taekwon-Do in 1983 and haven’t looked back since. I enjoy instructing and seeing students’ progress in Taekwon-Do. I am proud to be part of the original Taekwon-Do as founded by General Choi Hong Hi. | Master Rimmer began training in Wellington in 1983 and gained his black belt at age 25 in 1986. He became the instructor at Khandallah in 1986 before moving to the Bay of Plenty in August 1987. Master Rimmer has attended and organised many ITFNZ events. His specialty is in the technical aspects of Taekwon-do. | |

| Commencing Taekwon-Do in 1976 in New Zealand, Master Rounthwaite has taught Taekwon-Do in New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Australia, and Thailand, and, along with his wife Trish, received a commendation from Taekwon-Do’s Founder, General Choi Hong Hi for “pioneering Taekwon-Do in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea”.Master Rounthwaite has held positions of responsibility both nationally and internationally, including Secretary General, ITF Asia; ITF Ethics Committee; Congress representative in Malaysia, Poland and Germany; President ITF Papua New Guinea; Board of Directors MYITF; and Director National Championships, New Zealand.He has World championship Umpiring experience in Malaysia, Poland, and Germany, with other international umpiring experience in New Zealand, Australia, USA, Thailand, and Vietnam. | |

Mr Steve Pellow VI dan Infinity Papakura |
| Mr Pellow began Taekwon-Do in September 1980 and promoted 1st Dan in June 1984. He joined ITFNZ in 1992. He has also studied Aikido & Balintawak and enjoys seeing his students achieve their goals. Mr Pellow has played many important roles in ITFNZ over the years including various coaching positions and also helping develop the ITFNZ self defence syllabus. His practical knowledge and ability to apply Taekwon-Do techniques to real scenarios is second to none. |
